For this assignment, I was tasked with designing an informational poster on a randomly assigned subject—mine happened to be bugs. After spending a month researching, I chose to focus on eight of the deadliest insects in the world. Rather than presenting the information in a strictly scientific tone, I approached the topic with dark humor. I illustrated each insect at an exaggerated scale, placing a dramatically miniaturized human figure curled on a dinner plate beneath them—hence the title, Bugs’ Banquet.
This project became an exploration of typographic hierarchy, composition, and visual storytelling. By combining illustration with structured information design, I aimed to balance educational content with a playful yet slightly unsettling narrative.
